Reliable solid state lasers

Lexta 32 employs the latest generation DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) laser exposur engine from a recognized Japanese supplier.  Testing has shown that these are more compact and offer longer life than equivalent gas laser systems.

Operating environment

Imetto designed the Lexta 32 to operate reliable under the tough environmental conditions found throughout the world. Each unit is rigorously tested in our own envirnmental chamber to simulate a wide range of temperature and humidity, and great care was taken during the design and manufacturing process to protect critical parts under heavy dust situations. Even the optical system is sealed.

Power minimization

To reduce the power consumption and prolong the life of the laser engine, the circuits incorporate an automatic "stand-by" switch.  When the unit is not printing, the power consumption drops to a minimum level, which extends the life of electrical components, decreasing required maintenance and also lower the heat being generated, thereby cutting any cooling costs.

Continous printing

A unique patented two-cache exposure chamber (see diagram elsewhere) enables the Lexta 32 to print with an unlimited length.  The roll-to-sheet design cuts the exact length required, eliminating any post-cutting.  An optional x-y cutter is available.
